So yesterday I encountered something that truly angered and saddened me. I was in a supermarket doing the usual supermarket activities and was in an aisle for a fairly long amount of time and there was a family of 3, what I'm guessing was the Dad, Mum and Son, and the parents were just neglecting and insulting the kid.

The kid looked about 11 or 12 and the adults were just telling him to go away and would push him away from the trolley whenever he touched it. I swear I heard the woman say "I wish I never had you" to him or something along those lines and I fucking froze.

I was so full of rage that someone would treat their son like that, you chose to bring him to this world so now give him the best life you possibly can. Nothing more came of it, they left and I did the rest of the shop ping.

Makes me feel grateful for the parents that I had who may not have been perfect but were loving and supported me anyways.
